It goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway: regardless of your status or wealth, if you commit an act you know is wrong and are found guilty by a jury, you should face the consequences of your actions without recourse. Don't claim foul play or attempt to downplay what you did.
Moreover, attempting to have the conviction overturned or thrown out is futile and undermines the very essence of justice. Any everyday broke, ass individual would be locked up, and the key would be thrown away if we did what POTUS-45 did and is still trying to do…rewrite his criminal narrative based on immunity from prosecution.
Truth be told, when a politician fights to conceal the details of a crime and doesn't want anyone to know precisely what he did and how bad it was, it clearly indicates that he is guilty of everything. Which is exactly what the president-elect is doing.
More importantly, there's no way any of us ordinary individuals would be permitted to hold any position of power, let alone the highest office in the country if we were found to have stolen classified documents in our private residence, taken when we left the job, and refused to return them when the agency responsible for those records requested their return. In case you MAGA clowns, didn’t know it …stealing classified government documents are a crime.
All of you, regardless of your race, who voted for the man who clearly doesn't care about you or wants anything to do with you, you have asked for what's coming to you and by default the rest of us. Remember, you are your own damn worst enemy. So, don't blame anyone but yourself.
Finally, stop listening to fake news outlets spreading false information. Learn to fact-check. Case in point...the devil is a liar and loves to deceive those foolish enough to fall into his trap with your eyes wide open!
